The NBA: The Antithrones

Actualizado: 19 may 2022

One of the most important and relevant sports in the world is undoubtedly basketball, and in the United States, its home and where the best league in the world is positioned, the Play-Offs season does not go unnoticed.

Having great players like Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, LeBron James, Chris Paul, Joel Embiid or the last champion and MVP Giannis Antetoukompo always guarantees viewers a good show on American nights.

However, the latter incredibly did not even reach the conference finals after being one of the most regular teams in the season. This effect has been almost infallible in the last 10 years, (only with the exception of the 5 consecutive finals played by the Golden State Warriors 2015-2019), which has not had any of its last finalists in the subsequent season.

The system that manages the non-relegation league, constant exchanges of players, drafts and matches every two days mean that no team can be considered a "favorite" for the title only with the regular season, since the Play Offs are different matches, with greater intensity that makes them almost unpredictable for some, but without a doubt some of the best in the world.
